1 Accepting the Terms and Conditions
1.1 In order to use the Services at Atlantic Cars, you agree to the Terms and Conditions detailed below.. You may not use the Services if you do not accept the Terms. By using the services you understand and agree that Atlantic Cars will treat your use of the Services as acceptance of these Terms.
2.1 Passengers are responsible for providing sufficient time when making a booking to account for check in times and traffic conditions. Atlantic Cars are not responsible for delays in reaching your destination on time caused by passengers not booking in reasonable time.
2.2 Passengers are responsible for booking a suitable vehicle size to account for the number of passengers traveling. Children of any age are accounted as one passenger.
2.3 Passengers are responsible for booking a suitable vehicle to account for the luggage they are carrying.
2.4 If a pre booked taxi is more than 40 minutes late and the customer has missed their onward travel such as a flight, Atlantic Cars will ONLY reimburse the fare due on the journey booked. We will not be liable for compensating customers the cost of flights or any other expenses.
3 Prices and Payments
3.1 All credit/debit card payments are taken in advance unless agreed at the time of booking via email.
3.2 All prices quoted on the website are based on the details provided by the customer. Atlantic Cars have the right to amend prices if the quoted price is different to the details provided by the passenger. This includes changes to the number of passengers and luggage.
4 No Show and Waiting time
4.1 For meet and greet services we provide a maximum of one hour free waiting time from the time the flight has landed. This is included in the price quoted on the booking.
After the free waiting time has elapsed, a standard charge of £0.50 per minute applies.
4.2 Atlantic Cars shall check for flight delays however are not responsible for extended time spent at Immigration control.
4.3 If our driver is not able to contact you within one hour of the flight arrival time the booking will be cancelled and no refund issued for credit/debit card payments.
4.4 If you are paying by cash and do not show up after the one hour has elapsed from the time your flight has landed, you shall be responsible for the full cost of the journey quoted.
5 Cancellation Policy
5.1 All cancellations must be notified by calling our bookings team on 0118 3111 111 or via email to [email protected]
5.2 All cancellations must be received within 24 hours of placing a booking.
5.3 Atlantic Cars have the right to cancel any bookings if they are unable to fulfill a booking due to been over booked or other reason. We will contact the passengers via email if this is the case. It is the passengers responsibility to check all emails for booking cancellations.
6. Use of Vehicle and Behavior
6.1 You shall be responsible for the behavior of all passengers traveling in the vehicle. Atlantic Cars shall not accept the use of abusive language to drivers.
6.2 The driver has the right to refuse entry to the vehicle if they suspect any threat to themselves.
6.3 Smoking and the consumption of food and drink is prohibited in all vehicles.
6.4 A standard charge of £70.00 applies to passengers who soil the vehicle.
7 Refund Policy
7.1 If a booking is cancelled by us because we have been unable to fulfill the service, a full refund will be issued within 5 working days.
7.2 No refunds will be issued for bookings cancelled after a driver has been allocated.
7.3 No refund will be issued for bookings where you do not meet your vehicle within 1 hour of the flight arrival time and no contact has been made with either the driver or the Company.
7.4 No refunds will be issued for changes to the pick up or destination unless notified in advance by email.
FLIGHT SEARCH AND TICKETS
What we don’t do for you
We don’t sell tickets / bookings / etc. Our web site only allows you to search for travel products, but you pay directly to Our Partners on their web sites. Hence, if you have questions, suggestions or service inquiries, please forward them directly to Our Partner. All mentions of Our Partners, including their trademarks and logos, are made for information purposes only.
We don’t recommend any tickets / bookings over other tickets / bookings. We provide the comparison tool and the information we collect from Our Partners. All decisions are yours.
We don’t recommend one Partner over another Partner. Same reason as above.
What we don’t want you to do
If you’re under 13 – using the web site without your parent’s or guardian’s supervision.
Running automated search queries on our web site. This may affect the operation of our web site and make other users unhappy. This also includes spam and requests aimed at or likely to impair the performance and operation of the web site.
The travel search service is provided to you “as is” without any warranties, including fitness for purpose. It provides generic information that doesn’t take your specific requirements into consideration. All the ticket/booking information we display comes from our partners and we don’t validate it for accuracy, availability, applicability, compatibility with your needs or citizenship / visa status, etc.
We are not responsible for the validity of information outside of our control related to exchange rates, weather, time zones and time difference, travel time, etc. The information published in city guides may not be accurate and you use it at your own risk.
We disclaim any responsibility for any actions performed by you based on the information presented or implied on our web site.
Because we don’t sell anything (see above), we can’t guarantee the availability of tickets or bookings, or that the price given to us by Our Partners will be the same price you will pay.
We don’t guarantee that the price that will be displayed to you will contain ALL the charges and fees, including, but not limited to: airport charge, fuel surcharge, departure tax, checked baggage fee, credit card processing fee, etc.
We don’t guarantee your satisfaction with your flight or booking because the provisioning of service is beyond our control.
Theoretically, our web site may go down or become unresponsive for a short period of time. In the unlikely event of this happening, we are not responsible for any inconvenience you incur.
